Since the inception in 2014, the Department of Law has been in the vanguard of legal education by undertaking innovative research, fostering interdisciplinary approaches to the law, promoting sense of social justice and enhancing understanding of fundamental legal rules. The Department of Law has its vision in legal education with the present and prospective students. The four-year undergraduate program and one-year graduate program at the Department of Law culminate into a Bachelor of Laws LL.B. (Hons) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree respectively.
The Department of Law believes that legal education should not be based only on plain text rather emphasizes on providing the students a learning environment that equips them to become lifelong learners by integrating strong discipline-based knowledge and the development of professional capabilities. The coursework programs for both undergraduate and graduate students reflect the latest developments of law within the practice and profession. Several legal luminaries of the country are involved in teaching our students. It is especially noteworthy to mention that IBAIS University Moot Court Society (SUMCS) platforms the students to engage themselves for preparing moot court competition and research. I request you to visit our University before making any decision related to your admission in law. Not only that, You can contact me personally in case of any need you have.
